| Tobermory is the setting for the children's T.V. show Balamory. The town is now suddenly a very popular destination for young families wishing to visiting the various houses featured in the program. My studio is faces the house used as Spencer the painters house so I took some pictures of the show being filmed. | An activity which is growing in popularity is taking boat trips out to watch dolphins, porpoises and whales. The Hebridean Whale and Dolphin Trust has an office and shop in Tobermory. |
| There are two nine hole golf courses on the Isle of Mull, Craignure which is flatter of the two and Tobermory which is a challenging course with splendid views. Clubs can be rented from Browns shop in Tobermory. |
| Originally set up in 1966 the theatre has now grown to a larger company which often tours the highlands and Islands. Throughout 2007 Mull Theatre will build its new home just outside Tobermory. The new facility will be at Druimfin which lies within Aros Park, a former country estate which is now a public park owned and run by the Forestry Commission. |
| There are a number of castles on Mull. Duart Castle is passed on the approach to the island on the journey between Oban and Craignure. It is open during the summer months. |
| The Tobermory Highland Games last all day and are a popular event with many visitors. There are numerous events with a dance later in the evening. |
| The Island of Ulva is located off the west side of Mull and makes a good day trip for walkers. |
| The historical important island of Iona allows walkers the opportunity to escape the car and explore the small village, the Abbey and the sandy beaches. |
| There are a number of standing stones spread across Mull which make an interesting destination for walkers. |

| An Tobar, Tobermory Art Centre has a gallery, cafe and performance area. Located in upper Tobermory this former school is worth a visit if your interested in the arts on Mull. |
